By Chris Villani (August 15, 2022, 4:41 p.m. EDT) — A Boston jury on Monday cleared Cisco Systems Inc. in a $371 million patent lawsuit, finding that the California tech giant failed to infringes a Massachusetts software company’s patent following a two-week trial.
The panel deliberated for just under six hours before delivering its verdict, rejecting Egenera Inc’s claim that Cisco copied its software platform, named Bladeframe, to build its own data server and sold more. 353,000 of these servers to the tune of $5 billion. In income.
