Parents in Monmouth will soon be able to follow their child’s school journey with a new “School Bus Tracker” application.
Being a mobile app that connects parents with their child’s school transport system, the “School Bus Tracker” app keeps parents and schools directly informed and informed of arrivals and delays, providing real-time location of the vehicle. School transportation.
This allows schools to effectively manage and control any transportation situation, as well as giving parents peace of mind as to their child’s whereabouts.
Using GPS tracking technology, the app enables parents and school administrators to locate and monitor children’s school bus ride during home-to-school transportation.
The app will be free for parents to download, and upon registration they will receive a QR code by email that will allow students to scan upon entering the school vehicle. Once scanned, this will notify and update parents of their child’s trip.
The driver app will also allow the driver to communicate any delay or emergency situation by voice activation, being a real time connection between the bus and the transport operator providing a secure mobile communication channel.
