Vancouver, British Columbia – (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – ThyForLife, a free thyroid tracking app, launched its first official product after the successful launch of a beta app in May 2020, where more than 8,000 thyroid patients worldwide chose the tool to better understand and manage their thyroid problems. Downloadable to all Android mobile devices around the world, ThyForLife allows users to organize and store all medical data of thyroid patients, including blood tests, medications, weight and symptoms.
Thyroid cancer survivor Natalia Lumen, Founder and CEO of ThyForLife, created the mobile app as a way to give back to her community. With a growing team of 12, Lumen said, “We are committed to improving the lives of thyroid patients by bringing accessible information and thyroid health support right to your pocket. ”
The latest version of the app converts lab results on a single scale. Among the variety of reference ranges and different units in lab results, having them all on one scale and one graph creates a more organized and manageable system for patients. Users now have the enhanced ability to edit and update their medical information, add symptoms, and create notifications to ensure medications are regulated and administered on time – an ongoing issue for patients such as referenced by the Food and Drug Administration.
“Everyone on the team is thrilled to see the app come to fruition after months of hard work,” says Lumen. “We listened to what our beta users told us and created the first version to solve their main issues with tracking thyroid data. ”
The arrival of ThyForLife for iOS will arrive later this year. To stay informed of future launches, visit thyforlife.com and to download the app from the Google Play store, visit play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thyforlife.android.
